Joel is a 23 year old Las Vegas native. By trade, he is a Video Imager for Cashman's Photo Magic as well as a medical transcriptionist. His interests in history and historic preservation stretch past the Las Vegas strip, embracing also the maritime world. He is an avid Queen Mary historian/preservationist and has a passion for the golden age of transatlantic travel. He has been honored citywide, as well as congressionally for his hard work ethic and accomplishments. When not working one of his two jobs or working on gathering information for his websites, he enjoys traveling to Southern California on a regular basis.

Joel, with Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, being honored as one of Las Vegas' Citizens of Distinction for 2007.
